Adult (U21+, Men and Women divisions)

Our Ottawa City “Royals” teams have a proud tradition. Our women won seven consecutive Premier Division championships from 2004-2010, held the Ottawa Cup for five consecutive years, and reached the Ontario Cup semi-finals five times in the past decade, winning it once, The men’s team has won over 100 cups, leagues and tournaments including the Premier division 20 times, the Ottawa Cup 13 times, “The Double” on seven occasions and a national final. New players should contact the team coach to advise them of your interest and confirm that there is space on the team. Competitive team assessments are generally held in April and Summer session play runs from late May (usually week after Victoria Day) to late August. Our recreational Old Timer and Masters programs are a great way to stay connected to the sport, fitness, and a fun group of people. New players are welcome in these programs that runs year-round. Old-Timers & Masters

The Old-Timers program (35+) has been a longstanding tradition with the Ottawa City ‘Royals’ and the Club offers a comprehensive program.  The Club welcomes new players, especially those who have recently joined the ranks of old-timers.
The League formed a Men’s Masters (50+) division for the 2010 season. The Master’s division grew to a dozen teams in 2010.  In 2014 for the second consecutive year both of the Club’s the Men’s and Women’s Masters teams were provincial champions and represented Ontario.

New players should be sure to contact the team coach to alert them of your interest and check that there is space on the team.

Note1- Player must exceed the stipulated age (35) before January1 preceding the current outdoor playing season. So 35 or older before January1 of playing year.

Note2 – Player must exceed the stipulated age (50) before January1 preceding the current outdoor playing season. So 50 or older before January1 of playing year.

Registration opens in mid-January. Register from ‘Register’ button at the top of any page on our website.

Note 1 – Competitive: Players must be registered and paid 5 days in advance of attending an assessment session. Contact the team coach (from Men’s or Women’s page) to inform them of your interest in the team and for assessment info.

Note 3 – Recreational & OT – New players, please contact the coach to indicate interest in the team (Men’s or Women’s page above). Some teams have many returning players and limited space.

Etransfers for fine payments now accepted.

– All transfers must be sent to “[email protected]”,

– No security question is needed, payments will be auto-deposited,

– E-transfers must note: club name, team name, player name, reason for payment,

– Please take note of the transaction’s reference number for your records.

This Season:

PLAYER CARDS for 2023 Season
You will be using your Driver’s license for identification until further notice. Will need to update if a person doesn’t have a driver’s license, but would assume a passport would be acceptable.

Kit and Equipment

Registration includes: team uniforms – two jerseys (home and away) on loan from the Club.

Please review the Club’s Player Uniform Policy.

Required equipment: cleats and shin guards (mandatory), which must be worn at all games and practices. Approved headgear is optional.

Coaching

The Ottawa City Soccer Club and other local Clubs, run official Ontario Soccer Association (OS) approved coaching clinics. The cost for our coaches is covered by the Club with prior approval (see courses and reimbursement policy).
