First Kicks – Active Start (2017-2015)

First Kicks is OCSC’s Recreational Active Start program. Club instructors introduce fundamental movement skills and basic ball familiarization in a high energy environment that is age-appropriate and FUN for players. The objective is to learn the game while parent and child interact and children are moving and active. Your child will enjoy learning skills and playing soccer through imaginative games.

FUNdamentals (2014-2011)

FUNdamentals is a followup to the First Kicks (U4-U5) Active Start program. In this stage of development, players will continue to learn and refine general sport skills and soccer techniques. Players will work on their ball mastery skills and get maximum repetitions through games, challenges and activities which are designed to be appropriate to their abilities.

Learn To Train (2010-2009)

This “golden age of learning,” when children become less self-centered and are more able to reflect on their actions and learn from mistakes, provides an optimal window for further development of skills. The focus is on learning by doing, building a larger repertoire of soccer movements and teaching the basic principles of play in a fun and challenging environment.

Weekday Rec Program (2016 – 2009)

WHAT: We will be running programs at two different venues (Westwood Park and Craig Henry Park) Sessions will last 55 minutes. The first session of each week will be a technical based session with players doing a variety of skills training. The second session of each week will be a scrimmage day where players will be split into teams and play. Players will be placed in dual age band and gender groups (eg: 2014 and 2013 Girls combined) The sessions will finish with a Festival mid August

WHEN: 12 July – 2 September, 2021 (8 weeks) (No Soccer August 2nd – Civic Holiday)

U4-U5 Saturday Rec Program (2017 – 2016)

This program is designed as an introduction to soccer. Players will focus on fundamental movement skills and basic ball familiarization in a high energy environment that is age-appropriate and FUN. The Saturday program will be overseen by our Technical staff and run by Volunteer coaches. Parents are encouraged to be apart of the experience.

WHEN: 17 July – 28 August, 2021 (6 weeks) (No Soccer July 31 – Civic Holiday)

WHERE: Westwood Park OR Trend Arlington OR Central Park

Girls & Boys Saturday

Time: 9am – 9.50am

Soccer 4 Life (2008 – 2003)

Season Length

The season will start the week of July 19th.

The game and practice schedules will be available in Teamsnap (an invitation will be sent once schedules and start date as been determined. We plan to have 10-12 games scheduled from the week of July 19th to Sept 16th, 2021

For U13-18, games will start at 6:30 pm and most practices will also start at 6:30pm or 7:00pm.
There may be some exceptions due to coach and field availability.

For Summer 2021, due to the pandemic restrictions, there will not be a U13-18 Tournament.


Practice fields – Nepean/ Ottawa West area

Games – Home Games – Nepean/ Ottawa West area, and half games are in Kanata area (as we play teams from another club (WOS).

For the U13-18 age groups, there may be some teams participating in our Rec League from outside of the club. This will mean that 6 times during the season teams will have a game outside the clubs normal playing boundaries.
