First Kicks is OCSC’s Recreational Active Start program. Club instructors introduce fundamental movement skills and basic ball familiarization in a high energy environment that is age-appropriate and FUN for players. The objective is to learn the game while parent and child interact and children are moving and active. Your child will enjoy learning skills and playing soccer through imaginative games.
FUNdamentals is a followup to the First Kicks (U4-U5) Active Start program. In this stage of development, players will continue to learn and refine general sport skills and soccer techniques. Players will work on their ball mastery skills and get maximum repetitions through games, challenges and activities which are designed to be appropriate to their abilities.
Learn To Train (2012-2011)
This “golden age of learning,” when children become less self-centered and are more able to reflect on their actions and learn from mistakes, provides an optimal window for further development of skills. The focus is on learning by doing, building a larger repertoire of soccer movements and teaching the basic principles of play in a fun and challenging environment.

Spring Rustbusters (2019 – 2009)
Get Your Player Ready for Summer Soccer!
We are pleased to announce the return of the Spring RDP/Recreational Program for the U4-U14 age groups in addition to our regular Summer RDP/Recreational Programs. The Spring Program will be 6 weeks of 75 minute sessions on Sunday mornings. The 4&5 year old session will only run for 50 mins only.
Sessions, for girls and boys together, will focus on having fun and learning the game according to Ontario Soccer’s Grassroots Soccer Program. The program is designed to work on the four corners of athlete development: soccer movement, physical coordination, technical development in the activity and skills station(s), and tactical development in the small sided games area(s).
Players must supply their own cleats/running shoes and shinguards as per CSA regulations.
* We have made some changes to our summer programming this year. We are now opening up Saturday Morning to players u4-u8.*
This program is designed as an introduction to soccer. Players will focus on fundamental movement skills and basic ball familiarization in a high-energy environment that is age-appropriate and FUN. The Saturday program will be overseen by our Technical staff and run by Volunteer coaches. Parents are encouraged to be a part of the experience.

All 2019-2013 groups will have a 55 min session on Monday or Tuesday, half a practice and the other half a game. If players from the 2019-2013 age group are looking for an additional weekly training session, we have opened up our Saturday morning sessions for this age group.
