COACH & TEAM STAFF INFORMATION

Please follow the three steps below if you are interested in coaching (or managing/training) with Ottawa City SC.

Step 1:  Be aware of the mandatory certifications for team staff.

Use this table to determine the level of coaching of interest and which qualifications are required.

Step 2:  Fill out a volunteer form.

Volunteers forms must be done so that (1) mandatory waivers are completed and (2) we have your vital statistics.
Coaches and staff will not be placed on team rosters (required to be on the bench) until this step has been completed.
Fill out your Volunteer Form from your OCSC account – left hand menu – ‘Volunteer Now’ – current season.

Note:
Recreational coaches
 – email Craig Kelly. You will be contacted prior to the session start.

Step 3:  Complete any outstanding coach or team staff requirements once confirmed.

Use this table to review requirements that are detailed below.

COACH & TEAM STAFF REQUIREMENTS

The Club Registrar provides a list each season to teams of team team staff and their certifications completed/needed. Coaches and Team Staff are responsible for their own certifications and confirming their listing on this list is correct as certifications are checked by the District (and removal from the roster can be a consequence of non-certification).

Club policy is that PRCs must be valid within 5 years of the end of the current season. A vulnerable sector PRC from another

OCSC will reimburse team staff; please send receipt with current season OCSC team to [email protected].
