Ottawa City Soccer Club is excited to announce its annual Kickin’ In The Capital event taking place in 2026. This Canadian Club Competitive class tournament and festival is open to U8–U18 players.

Ottawa City Soccer Club has a new, easy-to-use registration software for all teams attending OCSC Tournament Events.

All rosters and guest players are easily viewable, and you can track standings and scores in real time during the tournament weekend. We hope to make the weekend flow as smoothly as possible.

Tournament Information

Everything you need to know about our 2026 Boys and Girls tournaments — dates, divisions, registration, and team check-in details.

Location

Nepean area fields — Ben Franklin Park, Centerpointe, Sir Robert Borden, and surrounding fields.

Ages

U8–U18 Boys & Girls (Birth years 2008–2018)

Field Sizes

  • U8 & U9: 5v5
  • U10 & U11: 7v7
  • U12 & U13: 9v9
  • U14 – U18: 11v11

Cost Per Team

  • U8 – U11: $320
  • U12 & U13: $520
  • U14 – U18: $695

Planned Divisions

  • Boys and Girls U8 – U18
  • Divisions will be tiered where possible
  • Top tiers: Suited for Regional/iModel, Premier, LDIR, or equivalent (regional level teams)
  • Lower tiers: Suited for T1/2/3, C1/2, or equivalent (district level teams)

Tournament Format

  • Minimum of 3 games per team
  • Opportunity for a Championship Match in most divisions

Game Durations

  • U8 – U9 Festival: 30-minute games
  • U10 – U11 Festival: 2 × 50-minute games or 3 × 33-minute games
  • U12+ Tournament: 60-minute games

Registration

All teams must register online through our website. Please register your team in the appropriate level.

Boys Registration Deadline
July 31, 2026
Girls Registration Deadline
August 31, 2026

Match Schedules

Match schedules will be available on our website 7 – 10 days prior to tournament start.

Travel Permits

Out-of-town teams must provide a travel permit from their home district or province by the following deadlines:

  • Boys teams: August 5, 2026
  • Girls teams: September 5, 2026

Game Sheets

We will print each team’s game sheets — they will be available at the fields with referees for each of your games.

Team Online Check-In

  • Ontario Soccer Team roster (or equivalent from your provincial body)
  • Player books or player cards for each player and team official
  • Online check-in link will be supplied with acceptance into the event

Note: Without the items outlined above, players will not be able to participate in the event.

Accommodations

The success of our tournaments relies heavily on the combination of great volunteers and the partnership established with our sponsor. HTG Sports is the exclusive travel partner for all Ottawa City Soccer Tournaments.

One of the criteria for acceptance is that any team requiring hotel accommodations must book through HTG Sports. HTG has secured blocks at all participating host hotels — contact them early to book your team.

Additional Information

  • Teams will not be considered accepted until full payment of fee is received
  • The Primary Contact listed during registration will receive all communications
  • Number of divisions per age group will be determined by the number of teams entered
  • The tournament will match teams of similar caliber at its sole discretion, but reserves the right to combine levels as required for scheduling purposes
